Strawberry Agua Fresca recipe
This was my first attempt at Hoddeok. It’s a dough filled sweet treat that is street food in Korea. I put strawberry in the dough (my own addition; not typical) and it’s filled with a brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.The mixture stays ridiculously hot (for a while) after taking it out of the pan.
As one of my Korean penpals so lovingly pointed out; mine weren’t flat enough and I didn’t use enough oil in the pan. LoL. And, right he is, but they were hella good! I’m not posting the recipe because I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m going to go with another one next time. I’m also going to make sure to pass the strawberry puree through a sieve and use more of it. This will be super when strawberries are actually in season.
